Calling All Artists and Crafters: The Sherburne Art Show Returns!

On Saturday, June 9, 2012, the Sherburne Public Library will host The Sherburne Arts & Crafts Family Festival in Gaines Park, Sherburne, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The festival will highlight area artists exhibiting and selling their work, and will feature exhibitions from students from Sherburne-Earlville Central School, food vendors, an interactive art tent for children, a silent auction, a ticket auction, and music. The art festival is dedicated to artist Mariea Brown, whose vision and enthusiasm inspired the original art show in Sherburne.

While the event is a fundraiser for the library, our long view is to reestablish the annual art show once enjoyed by this village. The library's goal is to present the work of central New York artists as well as create a family-oriented community event. If you are an artist or crafter and would like to join us for what promises to be a wonderful day of art and music, please email to request information and an application for participation.

Please share this link with your fellow artists, crafters, and art lovers, come on down to Gaines Park on June 9...and bring a friend!
