& Fun: Sherburne Arts Festival a Hit!
[SHERBURNE, NY] – The weather was
perfect, the art was inspiring, the food was delicious, the music was toe-tapping,
the special exhibits were exciting, and the people were many … the 6th
Annual Sherburne Arts Festival on Saturday had something for everyone and did
not disappoint.
The arts festival committee extends
sincere thanks to all who joined us in Gaines Park for a wonderful day of
viewing art, buying art, and making art. Special thanks to the following
volunteers: Mike Drahos (who portrayed T.H. Matteson in such fine fashion), Julian
Button, Tom Morris, Mike Mettler, Janet Horton, Riley Webster, Jeff Webster,
Ben Khoury, Zach Sampson, Brandi Harmon, Sarah Cole, Jessica Czachowski, and
Bill and Jackie Craine. We also extend thanks to the wonderful SECS art
teachers, Colleen Law-Tefft and the library staff, everyone who donated a
basket for our ticket auction and a pie for Pie-Mania, the folks from the
village who keep the park beautiful, and of course the artists and crafters who
have made this one of the most exciting art shows in Chenango County. Mark your calendars for 6/9/18, the second
Saturday in June.
